Purvi Parikh, SAST Alum, appointed Andrew W. Mellon Fellow of Religion Studies at Muhlenberg College
Congratulations to Purvi Parikh on her new position as the Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow of Religion Studies at Muhlenberg College. Purvi, a SAST PhD alum, and has recently been appointed to this tenure track post in the Religion Studies Department.

South Asia Studies' Sandhya Jetty Named Fulbright Scholar
Sandhya Jetty of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania has received a Fulbright U.S. Student Program grant to India in economic development from the U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. Jetty will be conducting as part of a project to research economic development programs for women.
