Mustafa Menai has been teaching at the University of Pennsylvania since 2014. After serving in strategic positions in the international and domestic non-profit education sector for over a decade, he conducted research in the areas of instructional planning, curriculum and assessment design at Mathematica Policy Research. Mustafa has also advised the Government of Pakistan on textbook evaluation and design. He has served as an assessment design reviewer and consultant for the United States Defense Languages Institute, and a teacher trainer at Startalk USA. He also holds instructional certifications from the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) and the United States Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR).
